Why share a FITS file as a link?
Specialist image formats are exactly the ones that break in transit: chat apps won't preview them, some services convert them, and email may reject the size. A link delivers the original file untouched, as a one-click download, to someone who has the right tool to open it.

Does the person I send it to need an account?+
No account is needed. They click the link and the file downloads; to open it they'll need SAOImageDS9 and FITS Liberator or another app that reads .fits files.
Can I share a FITS file privately?+
Yes. Add a password when you publish and only people you give it to can open the link. You can also ask for a name and email before the file is shown.
What if I need to change the file after sending the link?+
Upload the new version to the same address. Everyone who has the link gets the update, and the previous versions are kept in case you need one back.
Can I share several FITS files at once?+
