99helpers ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using 99helpers you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

99helpers is a file and web hosting service. You can put a file, a page or a whole static website online at an address of your own, including pages and files made with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. On top of hosting, 99helpers offers:

AI features that create a website from a short description and update a site when you describe a change;
an MCP server and a REST API, so AI apps and scripts can publish and update your sites for you;
site features such as forms, a blog, custom domains, password protection and visitor analytics;
free tools, such as creating a link for a PDF or testing HTML.

2. What Data We Collect

Account and profile data

When you create an account we collect your name, email address and password (stored as a secure hash). If you sign up with Google or GitHub, we receive the name and email address associated with that account. We also collect information you give us during onboarding, such as your business name, website and how you heard about us.

Your sites and files

Everything you publish is stored so it can be served: the files, the site's name and address, its settings (such as a password, stored as a hash, or a custom domain), and earlier versions of the site so you can restore them. Blog posts you write, and images you upload for them, are stored the same way.

Published sites are public: anyone with the address can see them, unless you protect a site with a password or keep it as a draft. Please do not publish personal data you are not entitled to share.

Content you give our AI features

When you use Create with AI or Edit with AI, we process what you send: your description or request, the answers you give in the wizard, files you attach, the address of a page you want to start from (which we then fetch), and the files of the site being edited. We keep a history of edits so you can review and undo them.

Connected apps, API tokens and the MCP server

When you connect an AI app (such as Claude) to 99helpers by signing in, we store which app you connected, which workspace you chose, when you connected it and when it was last used, together with the tokens that let the app act for you. When you create an API token, we store a secure hash of it, its name and when it was last used. We log requests to the API and the MCP server (for example which tool was used and by which app) for security and to investigate abuse.

Data from visitors to your sites

Form submissions. If a site you publish has a form or a lead form, we store what visitors submit and email it to you. For this data, you are the data controller and we process it on your behalf; you are responsible for telling your visitors how you use it.
Visitor analytics. We count visits to hosted sites (page, referring site, country, browser, operating system and device type) to show site owners their statistics. Hosted sites set no analytics cookies and we do not store visitors' IP addresses: a visitor is counted with a one-way hash that changes every day, so the same person cannot be followed from one day to the next.
Server logs. Like any web host, our infrastructure processes visitors' IP addresses and request details to deliver pages and protect against attacks.

Usage and technical data

We automatically collect data about how you use 99helpers.com and the dashboard, including pages visited, features used, IP address, browser type, device type and timestamps. This data is used to improve the service and keep it secure.

Payment data

Payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card details. We receive a confirmation of the transaction and your billing information for invoicing.

Messages you send us

If you email us, use the contact form or report abuse, we keep your message and contact details so we can respond and follow up.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use 99helpers.com. See Section 9.

Earlier features

99helpers used to offer an AI chat assistant and a help centre. Both have been retired. Content and conversations from them are no longer shown or processed, and are kept only until they are deleted.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

Providing the service: to create and manage your account, publish and serve your sites, run the AI features and connected apps you use, deliver form submissions to you and process your subscription.
Keeping the service safe: to scan uploads automatically for harmful content such as phishing and malware, review content that is flagged or reported, enforce our Acceptable Use Policy, and prevent abuse, fraud and unauthorised access. This can include blocking an email address from being used for a new account after a serious violation.
Improving the service: to analyse how the service is used, fix bugs and develop new features.
Communications: to send you transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, form submissions, invoices) and, where you have opted in, product updates and tips.
Legal compliance: to comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.

We do not use the content of your sites, or what you send our AI features, to train AI models.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

Providing the contracted service: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
Keeping the service and its visitors safe, and preventing abuse: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
Visitor analytics for site owners: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
Improving the service and analytics on 99helpers.com: legitimate interests, or consent where required for cookies (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(a) GDPR)
Marketing communications: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
Legal obligations: compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)

For form submissions and other visitor data collected on your sites, we act as your processor and process that data on your instructions.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with third parties only where needed to run the service:

Hosting and infrastructure: our application runs on Vercel, our database on Supabase, and your files are stored and served by Cloudflare (including Cloudflare R2 storage and its edge network). When you add a custom domain, Cloudflare also issues its security certificate.
AI providers: when you use Create with AI or Edit with AI, your request and the relevant content are sent to the AI model provider that does the work, such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or providers we reach through OpenRouter. They process it to produce the result.
AI apps you connect: when you connect an AI app through our MCP server, or use an API token, that app receives the data it asks for on your behalf, such as a list of your sites or your form submissions. Its own privacy policy governs what it does with that data.
Stock photos: sites built with Create with AI may show photos from Unsplash, which visitors' browsers load from Unsplash's servers.
Email: we send emails through Resend.
Payments: payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. under its own privacy policy.
Analytics on 99helpers.com: we use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how visitors use our own website and dashboard.
Legal requirements: we may disclose data if required by law or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of 99helpers, our users or others.

6. Data Retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

Sites and files stay online until you delete them. We keep up to 20 earlier versions of each site so you can restore them. Deleting a site removes its files and all its versions from our storage.
Form submissions are kept until you delete them, or the site they belong to.
Closing your account: your account data is deleted within 30 days. Ask us if you would also like the sites in your workspaces removed, and we will delete them.
Content removed for violating our policies, and records of reports and enforcement, may be kept for as long as needed to prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
Anonymised or aggregated data, such as visit counts, may be kept indefinitely because it cannot identify you.
We may keep certain data for longer where required by law or to resolve disputes.

7. International Data Transfers

99helpers is made in Europe and we aim to keep your data within the EEA where possible. Some of our providers, including AI model providers, are based in the United States or elsewhere outside the EEA, and our edge network serves sites from locations worldwide. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or, where a provider is certified under it, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Your Rights

If you are located in the EEA or the UK, you have the following rights under applicable data protection law:

Right of access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to erasure: request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
Right to restriction: ask us to limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to object: object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Right to lodge a complaint: with your local data protection authority.

If you submitted a form on a site hosted on 99helpers, please contact the owner of that site first: they decide how your submission is used. If you cannot reach them, contact us and we will help.

9. Cookies

On 99helpers.com and in the dashboard we use the following categories of cookies:

Essential cookies: required for the platform to work (signing in, session management, security). These cannot be disabled.
Preference cookies: remember your settings, such as language or theme.
Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use the site. You can choose whether to allow them in the cookie banner.

Sites hosted on 99helpers set no analytics cookies of ours. Two functional cookies may be set on a hosted site: one that remembers a visitor has entered a site's password, and one that remembers a visitor has filled in a site's lead form (so they are not asked again for a month). Site owners may add their own cookies to their sites; those are their responsibility.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the service works.

10. Children's Privacy

99helpers is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Security

We take the security of your data seriously and use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, loss or destruction. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS) for 99helpers.com and every hosted site, secure hashing of passwords, site passwords and API tokens, short-lived access tokens for connected apps that you can disconnect at any time, access controls, and automatic scanning of uploads for harmful content. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or with a notice in the dashboard. Your continued use of 99helpers after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
