About this template
A warm, dark website for a restaurant built around fire. The hero shows a brick oven arch glowing with flames, its temperature and state ("resting between services") beside it, while embers drift up the page and a soft light follows the cursor. A strip under the hero answers the four questions guests actually have: are you open today, where are you, what's the number, and when's the next pickup slot.
The sample restaurant is Kiln, a 38-seat restaurant and wine bar in east London. This week's menu has tabs for dinner, weekend lunch and drinks, with vegetarian and gluten-free filters and favourites marked. Book a table offers only the days and times you're open, with your booking rules alongside: how long tables are kept, how long dinner takes, groups, walk-ins and changes. The room tells the story of the kitchen, with a few numbers and a private dining section for the back room. Hours and location has the address, directions and buttons to copy the address, phone and email. Guests can build a pickup order from the menu and choose when to collect it.
Who it is for. Wood-fired and open-kitchen restaurants, pizzerias, grills, wine bars and anywhere that looks best by candlelight.
What you change. It is one HTML file. The business data sits together at the top of the script: opening hours for each day and the menu, one line per dish with its description, price and tags. The rest of the text is plain HTML. Or ask the AI editor to make the changes for you.
Good to know. Bookings and pickup orders are demonstrations: guests see a confirmation, but nothing is sent yet. Connect them to your booking and ordering tools, or replace the buttons with links to the services you use. Visitors who prefer reduced motion get a still version.

Questions about this template
- Where do I change the opening hours and the menu?
- At the top of the script, under Business data. Each weekday has its opening times in minutes from midnight, and each dish is one line with its name, description, price and tags. The status strip and the booking times update from those hours automatically.
- Do bookings and pickup orders reach me?
- Not yet. Both show the guest a confirmation but don't send anything. Connect them to your booking and ordering tools, or replace the buttons with links to the services you already use.
- Can I turn the embers off?
- Visitors who prefer reduced motion already get a still version. To remove the effects for everyone, ask the AI editor to switch off the ambient layer.
- Is the kiln wood-fired restaurant website template free?
