About this template
A link-in-bio page dressed as the crew interface of a deep-space ship. It opens with a short boot sequence, then lands on a "personnel file" card with your name, role, a line of skills, a short bio and five link rows — portfolio, GitHub, LinkedIn, Instagram and contact — each with its own tag and description. Behind the card a green wireframe landscape scrolls past and follows the mouse; around it sit a motion tracker that picks up contacts (and sounds a proximity alert when one gets close), live instrument readouts, operator vitals and a ticker along the bottom. Click or tap anywhere to send a scan pulse.
Under the card is a working command line. Visitors can type help, whoami, links, scan, status, audio, date or clear — and sudo, which is logged as an incident. Audio is off until the visitor turns it on, and then it's a generated ambient synth with blips and an alarm, made in the browser with no sound files. People who ask their device for reduced motion skip the boot sequence and the heavier animation.
Who it is for. Developers, game and sound designers, 3D artists, streamers and anyone whose audience enjoys finding the details. It is the link page people send to each other because of the page itself, and it still does the job: the links are big, labelled and work on a phone, where the layout drops to a single column.
What you change. It is one HTML file. The two places to edit are marked with EDIT: comments near the top: your role and location, your name (also in its data-text attribute, which drives the glitch effect), the skills line and the bio, then the five links — address, tag, label and description for each. A couple of lines in the script mention the name too, the whoami answer and the boot line that decrypts your personnel file, so search for "JANE DOE" and "0000-JD" and replace them all. The colours, fonts and every instrument are plain CSS and JavaScript if you want to go further, or ask the AI editor to do it for you.
Why host it. A page this animated needs somewhere that serves it as-is: no builder, no plugins, no ads around it. Publish it at your-name.99helpers.site in a click and update it by dropping the file in again.

Questions about this template
- How do I put my own links in?
- Look for the EDIT: comments in the HTML. Each of the five links is one block: change the address, the short tag (SITE, CODE, NET…), the label in both places it appears, and the description underneath.
- Does it play sound automatically?
- No. Audio stays off until the visitor presses the Audio button or types audio in the terminal. The sound is generated in the browser, so there are no audio files to host.
- Is it too heavy for phones?
- It is a single 70 KB file with no images, and on narrow screens it switches to a one-column layout with the side instruments hidden. Visitors who prefer reduced motion get the page without the boot sequence and heavy animation.
- Is the meridian sci-fi bio page template free?
- Yes. Copying it, giving it an address and sharing the link costs nothing. You create an account at the moment you publish — that's the only step that needs one.
- Do I keep the copy if the template changes later?
