What is a .3fr file?

3FR is Hasselblad's raw format, produced by its medium-format H and X-series cameras and digital backs. Files are enormous — 50 to 100 megapixels of medium-format sensor data — and are usually converted to FFF in Hasselblad's Phocus software for editing.
